Our generation is witnessing a visible spiritual awakening, yet it is also facing a growing doctrinal confusion, marked by unbiblical movements and cultural syncretism. Many young people grow up within the Church without a solid foundation, leaving them vulnerable to the distortions of prosperity theology, religious fanaticism, or a shallow form of Christianity.
For this reason, it is essential to intentionally raise a new generation firmly rooted in the Scriptures, formed in a thoughtful, living faith that remains faithful to the Gospel within the Reformed tradition.
It is with this vision in mind that, since September, we have launched DEVITRA, a doctrinal grounding course specifically designed for teenagers. DEVITRA is an acronym for Discovering, Living, and Passing on the biblical faith. The program is intended for young people aged between 14 to 20 and is taught within the framework of the evangelical and Reformed theological tradition.

The program runs for one year, with regular meetings held twice a month—on the first and last Saturdays of each month, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the city center.
It covers twenty essential doctrines drawn from Professor Wayne Grudem’s Twenty Basic Doctrines Every Christian Should Know. In addition, the participants read and submit written reflections on the following books:
As we write this, the first cohort consists of approximately fifteen teenagers and has already completed more than one third of the course. We are also planning to welcome a new cohort in September.
